Mid-East Bible Prophecy:Myanmar, Marriage, Repent? Part 2
Our weekly Middle East Bible Prophecy update. This week our teacher, for the first time ever, through the leading of God’s Holy Spirit, leads JD to start with our weekly Mid-East Bible Prophecy Update & take off on our look at our times our people and our culture. I had trouble even deciding what to name this latest video release, as you can see. From the floods in Burma / Myanmar China, to homosexual marriage, to the court system usurping the will of the people, to the demonic & satanic influences in and behind todays popular music, to school shootings & demonic activity in our schools, to the rapture, to the tribulation, on to (hopefully for all of you who see this, before it is too late, if you have not done so already) repentance, and God’s Salvation, in and through the substitutionary death and shedding of blood on the cross, of His Son Jesus the Christ and Messiah of Israel. He never made it to our regular verse by verse and chapter by chapter and book by book teaching through the Word of God, but we feel sure that you, like us, will be glad he did not, just this once. We pray you all will open your hearts and minds to God’s Holy Spirit and hang on for the ride though this video release and even on to Jesus’ soon return to catch us up in to meet Him in the air before the beginning of the great Tribulation and time of Jacob’s trouble. As always, we talk about how the Bible says all these signs of the end times & of the Messiah (Christ) Jesus’ return (which we see today in our headlines every day) Are these prophecy coming true in our day? It was prophecied by God in the Bible almost 2,000 years ago. This is a one (1) part of a 7 part video release. This teaching, along with all of JD’s weekly Mid-East Bible Prophecy Updates, was originally presented & recorded on Sunday morning before our regular Sunday chapter by chapter & verse by verse Bible teaching. You may also note that the verses he quotes, which are a prophecy of the “End Time” by Paul to Timothy, found in 2nd timothy Chapter 3 verses 1 thru 9, are the same verses I read, and saw to be true, by looking into my own heart, during the time of my conversion in the St. Louis County Jail 10 years ago. I’d recommend reading them and take an honest look at your own heart, or (since sometimes we are blinded to our own faults) those around you and see if you think this prophecy is coming true in our day. This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. The Real Disaster in Burma
In the wake of the devastating cyclone that hit Burma on 2 May, the Burma Campaign UK launched a new video and poster campaign to highlight the ongoing disaster in Burma — the military dictatorship. The new animated film ‘The Real Disaster’ was created by Ogilvy Advertising and is narrated by famous comedian Ricky Gervais. It tells the story of a little girl called Khin Mar, who survived Cyclone Nargis but whose village is later destroyed by the military dictatorship. The message is ‘The real disaster in Burma is the government’.

Daniel Mason’s debut novel, The Piano Tuner, is the mesmerizing story of Edgar Drake, commissioned by the British War Office in 1886 to travel to hostile Burma to repair a rare Erard grand piano vital to the Crown’s strategic interests. Eccentric Surgeon-Major Anthony Carroll has brokered peace with local warlords primarily through music, a free medical clinic, and the “powers” of common scientific instruments, much to the dismay of warmongering officers suspect of such unorthodox methods. Drake is an introspective, well-mannered soul who, once there, falls in love with Burma and stays long past the piano-fixing to aid Carroll’s political agenda. Drake’s arduous journey to reach the outpost, however, takes far too long (nearly half the book) and the plotting is rather heavy-handed at times (one night, Drake learns of a mysterious “Man with One Story” who rarely speaks, and the very next morning the Man tells all to Drake). The story is ambitious, the language florid and sure to please, but the dialogue and melodrama are sometimes tedious. While out on the town with Carroll’s love interest, Khin Myo (who enchants Drake), Mason offers the townspersons’ view of Drake:
