Open Question: ICC Changes Test Match Result ?
The ICC has changed the result of the 2006 test match result Eng V Pakistan, where accusations of ball tampering were made by Daryl Hair. Izamam has criticized ICC regarding Hair’s re-instatement as an international umpire, saying it was because of Hair’s bias that all the trouble started. Should Hair have been re-instated? What is your opinion? For mine, I wish they had left him in oblivion. Oh yes, I agree that if Paki walked off they shouldn’t have been awarded the match. Having said that, Hair with his well known bias caused their walk off. The thing is it changed nothing, England still won the series. Too true Humphry.Wait a minute! I’m talking to a bear! lol to the user called Dont Blame Me Later, what are you talking about? Nalaka, show me where in the laws of cricket it is illegal to do that? This is such a ridiculous bit of carry on about nothing. Anything that isn’t illegal & is a help to a batsman or bowler can be used. Are you going to throw Brett Lee out because he wears more studs in his boots then other bowlers, or Sachin because he uses a heavier bat then some? Where is this all going to end? Now hang on Dont Blame me, I was supporting Pakistan here & dismissing Hair! Where do you find hatred in any of my remarks? I know you are trying to rekindle old hatreds with your exaggerated statements, but others will see through you just like I have. You think we don’t recognise your ’style’ of racism? Go annoy someone else, because you mean less than nothing to me. Jassu, is this the same Jassu who emailed me yesterday & promised no more nastiness now you’re ‘grown up’? For corrupt, you should check out your own countries very iffy way of doing things regarding cricket.
Open Question: When was the last time you heard Senator Obama or Senator McCain give a speech on the bloated public sector?
Today our ruling parties tacitly agree that no government department can be eliminated, that major spending reductions are forbidden and that the spending spree must continue. So how and where will all this spending be paid for today and tomorrow? Instead of discussing that, the two major presidential candidates will likely continue a faux debate. They’ll argue ridiculous issues such as whether or not capital gains taxes should be raised, as though taking billions more from the rich will wipe out trillions of dollars of debt that will burden unborn generations. the most serious threat to the United States is not someone hiding in a cave in Afghanistan or Pakistan but our own fiscal irresponsibility

Crossed Swords: Pakistan, Its Army, and the Wars Within
Based on 30 years of research and analysis, this definitive book is a profound, multi-layered, and historical analysis of the nature and role of the Pakistan army in the country’s polity as well as its turbulent relationship with the United States. Shuja Nawaz examines the army and Pakistan in both peace and war. Using many hitherto unpublished materials from the archives of the United States, the United Kingdom, and the General Headquarters of the Pakistan Army, as well as interviews with key military and political figures in Pakistan and the United States, he sheds light not only on the Pakistan Army and its US connections but also on Pakistan as a key Muslim country in one of the world’s toughest neighborhoods. In doing so, he lays bare key facts about Pakistan’s numerous wars with India and its many rounds of political musical chairs, as well as the Kargil conflict of 1999. He then draws lessons from this history that may help Pakistan end its wars within and create a stabler political entity.
